Gavin Yuill

Gavin has wide experience as project architect on many types of development including housing, healthcare, leisure, commercial, retail and community projects. He is also experienced in speaking at public meetings and in leading community discussion groups. On account of his wide ranging experience, Gavin has in depth knowledge of various project procurement models, and putting clients together to help achieve their project goals; through collective working.

Gavin cares deeply about the ethos of the practice, and what the environment intends to achieve: supporting people to become the best version of themselves. He takes great satisfaction in helping staff, clients, and others that work with the practice to achieve their goals, and greatly appreciates the mutual benefit of how collective working improves not only his own performance, but the architecture that the office creates. This care has lead to the formation of the Yuill Community Trust: CIC, and also Gavin’s long standing involvement in Developing Young Workforce Borders as a board director.

Outside the office, Gavin is can be found spending time with family, on the golf course, or coaching the Melrose juniors football team that his son is a part of.
