Before joining the practice Kirsten worked extensively in the hotel sector, particularly within listed buildings, for a number of high-profile clients including the Gleneagles hotel and Starwood Capital Group. Since joining CSY she continues to lead projects in a range of sectors through every aspect of the design and build process.
Kirsten places special emphasis on the importance of communication and teamwork, both within our office and with other partners and stakeholders. Kirsten initiated our monthly Dalkeith lunch club where we share all things architecture, recipes and occasionally even politics. She has a particular interest in building refurbishment and imaginative reuse of buildings with a focus on heritage.
Outside the office, Kirsten can be found in hiking boots pursuing another Munro peak or with a paintbrush in hand attempting a DIY project.
