James King

Before joining the practise, James worked on the executive architectural team for the restoration and regeneration of Jenners in Edinburgh. From his industry experience, degree and self-learning, James has competency in a range of software such as Revit, Twinmotion and the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite, which he can use to produce accurate BIM models, technical details and high-quality 3D visualisations. Since joining CSY, James has shared his expertise in BIM and continues to learn and build on his existing skillset.

James is on the board of the Young Persons in Construction (YPIC). He is part of the team
which organises and hosts quarterly events to allow early career professionals to network
and enjoy a craft beer. James has an interest in A.I and digital twin technology which will
shape the architecture industry to come.

James’ interests outside the office include performing live music with his band and
travelling.
