Britt brings experience across multiple sectors. Taking a holistic approach to design, she creates meaningful, functional spaces that enhance the user experience. Her portfolio spans a range of sectors, from adaptive reuse of buildings to bespoke residential projects recognised through design awards, as well as large-scale projects and community developments. With an emphasis on functionality and enjoyment, she aims to deliver lasting value in every project. Thriving in team-oriented environments, she works closely with clients and consultants to achieve the best outcomes.
With international experience in New Zealand and Denmark, Britt is known for her visually driven, sustainable design solutions. Alongside her project work, she has a strong interest in business development, fostering relationships, identifying opportunities, and supporting growth and innovation. Beyond practice, Britt has lectured in Design Theory and currently serves on the board of a Housing Association, where she helps shape the future of Mid-Market Rent housing and promote sustainable community development. As part of the CSY team, Britt’s work aims to create places that inspire, engage, and promote wellbeing – design that makes a lasting, positive impact on people and communities.
Committed to supporting wellbeing both in design and the workplace, Britt is also a trained Mental Health First Aider. She is passionate about the role architecture plays in shaping how people feel and connect within spaces, believing that design should promote wellbeing, collaboration, and joy. This approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, ensuring that every project thoughtfully responds to the people who use it and the context in which it sits. She values open collaboration and knowledge sharing, fostering cross-disciplinary dialogue and a culture of curiosity, innovation, and care in the workplace.
Outside of work, I’m inspired by the outdoors and enjoy spending time exploring nature – whether cycling, running, walking, or travelling to discover new landscapes and architecture. I practice mindfulness, which helps shape how I approach both life and design. I also enjoy volunteering and supporting local community initiatives, valuing opportunities that connect people and place in meaningful ways.
