Congratulations to our Associate, Fraser Bell, who has secured Advanced Conservation Accreditation from the RIAS.
This reflects his many years of accumulated experience and knowledge of working with historic buildings and designing contemporary architecture in historic settings.
Fraser leads a number of our recent and ongoing conservation projects, including works to the Category A listed Mertoun House, St Andrew’s Kirk Ports Scheduled Monument in East Lothian and the Category B Listed Gracemount Mansion House, Edinburgh.
CSY has been responsible for conserving some of the South of Scotland and North of England’s most important historic structures through rigorous conservation work and well-mannered contextual design that is true to its time and place. Whilst respecting and acknowledging the past, our architecture strives to respond to the challenges of the future, particularly with regard to sustainable design.
