Longridge Towers School | Berwick upon Tweed

Set in the stunning Northumberland countryside just outside Berwick upon Tweed, close to the Scottish Borders, Longridge Towers School is an independent school offering education for children from the age of 3 through to 18 in small class sizes.

New very low budget facilities in the established garden setting of the Victorian Grade B listed school building posed a significant challenge.

Time constraints led to a procurement process consisting of competitive interview and negotiated tender, and a committed local contractor has completed the project.

By contrast, the new building is a low rectangular mono pitched building in a modern idiom with a colonnade facing an open playspace, the emphasis being on simplicity and calm.
