Coldingham Luckenbooth| Coldingham
This small building revitalizes the Square near the 11th Century Coldingham Priory.
Fostering the collaboration of multiple agencies, it enabled the village to retain a vital piece of rural infrastructure then at risk.
The end result is a new multi functional, sustainable template with the village Post Office combined with retail, coffee shop, community meeting space and an interactive interpretation wall to promote nearby visitor attractions.
A small but committed local contractor delivered the building to a demanding timetable and the building has fitted seamlessly into village life.
